Happy Japan is an anime and Japanese specialty store, offering retail sales of rare and hard to find items, imported snack goods, novelties, and couture fashions. We strive to meet the demand by selling the best, most unique and quality imported Japanese themed goods and services to the local Nashville community and national anime community.

Established in 2007, Laura Caughron Myers is the owner and manager of Happy Japan. She operates the business with her husband and co-owner Ian. Happy Japan is represented by Yuki, our proud mascot!

She was created by our dear friend Ryan Zanfei, who is the most AMAZING artist!! ^w^ Ryan is one of the most talented artist we have ever had the pleasure of knowing! Her art (both personal and for Happy Japan) is immaculate! We support her artistry 100%!! :3

Ryan is a self taught artist from Indiana. Awesome right!?!! She travels to various anime conventions to promote her work and (this is our favorite part :3) she does commissions!
